Although the traditional racing games are usually with motor vehicles, there is another type that's more natural, like this Pink-pony.
Pink-pony is a multiplayer racing game (in the purest style of Tron) in which you have to control a little pony. The race takes place with the ponies galloping flat out. But you can't just go anywhere, as you have to avoid the bunches of flowers that the other ponies leave wherever they step at all costs. At the same time you must try and force the other ponies into yours.
Pink-pony is a different kind of racing game, but just as entertaining.
